In 2021, the mdw - University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna - has awarded the Prize of Honour (Würdigungspreis) to eleven students, in recognition of excellent achievements in the Degree Programm.
The decision as to which of the more than 150 graduates who have completed their studies with distinction will be chosen as award winners is made annually by the heads of the institutes in cooperation with the Vice Rectorate for Academic Affairs and Young Artists' Promotion.
